After countless Sunday afternoons watching my Grandma create magic in her upstate New York kitchen, my culinary journey was destined to unfold. With formal training from Paul Smith's College, advanced degrees in Education and Business Administration, and over 20 years of experience spanning from fast-casual to haute cuisine, I've dedicated my life to both mastering and teaching the culinary arts as a proud Disciples of Escoffier member.

With a culinary journey that began as a barista, I've dedicated the past 6 years to mastering the art of cooking, evolving into my current role as sous chef. When I'm not crafting our signature fish tacos or perfecting traditional Filipino lumpia, you'll find me embracing the outdoors through hiking and paddle-boarding adventures, or hunting for virtual creatures in Pokemon Go.

One of my greatest joys is preparing our signature Candy's Fried rice in a traditional wok, watching as this beloved dish creates moments of connection and happiness among our guests.

From Ohio to the sun-soaked streets of Scottsdale, my journey has been one of service and discovery. After proudly serving as a Master-At-Arms in the U.S. Navy's Nuclear Security at King's Bay Georgia, I returned to Arizona where I first built a successful automotive business. Today, I'm pursuing my true passion at the Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. I take special pride in crafting our restaurant's beloved Candy's Fried Rice.

When I'm not helping craft exceptional brews drawing from my Cornell beer studies, you might find me winning trivia competitions or solving crossword puzzles - skills that even landed me a game show appearance.
